To those who aren't sorry...


 Thank you. I stand in solidarity with all of you..... but...

 ...call it the sportsman in me, (and being altruistic that my words will have any effect)  but I have to come out and critcize a few of you. As much as I share all of your folks' sentiment, as seen in an earlier tirade, there are a few of you who are worthy of the same general criticism as my liberal victims.

 Here I go....

 Somehow, I don't think Lord Stanley gives a fuck about who won the election. I'm sure he cares more about the condition of his cup after Dallas Star Guy Carboneau tossed it from a balcony into his pool after the '99 Finals. In fact, you're running on this ice with me anyway, being a Flyers fan.

 And as I can be, and have been, a defender of the right-wing from leftt/liberal detractors....don't EVER call them traitors. I may disagree with 99% of them, and hell, I may return the volleys they fire in my direction, but in battle, one must always respect (some) of the enemy. There's not many of them, but there are a few I respect!

 And of course, there's always one of these guys in the bunch. You know, homosexuality ain't my "cup o' tea", but I'm not ready to deny anyone the right to "the pursuit of happiness", as long as it doesn't involve hurting anyone or just defy reason. So please, head back to the shack and finish reading The Turner Diaries.

 And although John Kerry is a douchebag, and MacGyver is a bad ass, not all liberals are pussies.  Oh, and to the guy in the black and white pic in front of the flag.... they're casting for extras for a scen in The Blue Oyster bar in the new Police Acadamy movie.

 I am not sorry that Bush won, but I am sorry that, with either side of the political spectrum, people come out of the woodwork.

 That's not to say that some liberals aren't elitest snobs who automatically equate faith with ignorance and think they're the bees fucking knees because they read Noam Chomsky and listen to RATM, all the while lecturing Bush supporters on our beliefs and why we're war mongering, racist, imperialist bigots who would rather club baby seals than recycle.....

 ...but I know a few that are not. And in their defense, they are patriots as much as you or I, so back off the Johnny Walker Red and remember that, believe it or not, there are some pretty cool liberals out there.

 ......after all, it wouldn't be any fun if we all agreed on something.
